Steve Farrelly

President

Read Steve's Bio

As a lifelong Westchester resident, Steve Farrelly serves as the founder and President of Emerald Tree and Shrub Care Company. As an avid sportsman who enjoys fishing, swimming and more, he was inspired to start Emerald after witnessing various irresponsible acts taking place throughout the Long Island Sound. His mission was to create a company that helped watershed, assisted residents in relating to their landscape, their use of pesticides, and their trees and shrubs. All of these efforts are an important part of a macro environment.

As a graduate of New York Botanical Gardens’ Professional Horticulture program, Steve mastered various horticultural topics, including the cause and effect of what landscaping and tree care on a property can have on the environment, particularly in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. He is also a Board-Certified Master Arborist, the highest level of accreditation in the field.

When he is not spending time with his family, he enjoys working with clients and the public to share the critical role trees play in the world and local communities.
