The Basic Program consists of Five Scouts or Property Visits.

Scout One - EARLY SPRINGTIME - Horticultural Oils are used for the control of early hatching harmful insects such as Adelgids, Mealy bugs and Scales. Other insects at this time include Tent Caterpillars and Pine Sawfly

Scout Two - SPRING - Horticultural Oils, Systemics, Beneficial Nematodes and Insecticidal Soaps are used for the control of Caterpillars, Mealy Bugs, Sawfly, Scales, Leafminers and Black Vine Weevil.

Scout Three - LATE SPRING - Horticultural oils, Systemics and Beneficial Nematodes are used for the control of Mites, Scales, Caterpillars and Black Vine Weevil.

Scout Four - SUMMER - Summer Oils are used to protect Ornamental Woody Plants and Evergreens from warm weather insects such as Mites, Adelgids, Webworms and Scales.

Scout Five - FALL - Horticultural Oils are once again used to control late season insects, which are laying eggs for the next season. These insects include Mites Scales and Adelgids.
